Instructor Approval Required before signing up for any of these classes. Current students in these classes don't need approval to keep going.
Pre-CGC (advanced manners) - This class is a stepping stone between manners and CGC class. It will introduce more walking, dogs walking past, longer stays and appropriate greetings.
CGC – Prepare for the Canine Good Citizen Test. The test covers leash walking, stays, recalls, greeting a stranger and separation. For further information visit http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/. Pre-Req: One full month of manners and instructor approval.
Therapy Dog – This class will prepare you and your dog to become Therapy Dog Certified. Topics will include wheel chairs and walkers, high distractions, leave-it when a person offers a treat, and other important behaviors for therapy work. Instructor approval required.
Rally-O – This class combines a relaxed form of competition obedience with a little bit of agility. It's a fun way to work on your obedience with your dog while also having a little bit of fun. Pre-req: One full month of manners and instructor approval.
Beg Competition Obedience – This class is for those interested in competition obedience. It will teach you all the foundations you'll need to compete at the novice level. Pre-req: CGC Title (or previous Rally-O experience) and instructor approval.
